Wake up to something bright and refreshing with one of my favorites- a tropical Pineapple Mango Smoothie. 5 ingredients, loaded with fruity flavors and thickness from the bananas. Combining vitamin A-rich spinach with vitamin C-rich pineapple actually helps with the absorption of both vitamins. They both support a healthy metabolism and are immune boosting vitamin superstars. If you are looking for a smoothie as a meal replacement, try adding in 2 tablespoons almond meal and a bit of coconut oil. You’ll get the same great taste with added fullness.
Add the water, spinach, bananas, pineapple, and frozen mango into your blender in that order. You can use frozen banana or frozen pineapple as well; just be sure that at least 1 fruit is frozen to make your smoothie cold. Blend for 20-30 seconds, or until smooth.
Pour the blended smoothie into 2 large glasses and enjoy!
