Breakfast is one of my favorite meals to cook, and this one is great all year long. It’s such an easy recipe to make, and comes out of the oven golden brown and delicious!
Slice bread into about 16 slices.
Beat cream cheese in large mixing bowl with electric mixer until creamy. Add in eggs, milk, maple syrup, vanilla, and cinnamon. Mix well.
Dip bread in egg mixture, turning to evenly coat both sides. Place moistened bread in a large shallow baking dish or bowl. Add any remaining egg mixture to the dish. Refrigerate 1 hour or up to 24 hours.
Heat oven to 425. Place bread in single layer on baking sheet coated with non stick cooking spray. Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown. Flip bread halfway through baking. Sprinkle with sugar and serve warm. Serve with fresh strawberries or raspberries. I usually top mine with a bit more maple syrup for a little extra maple flavoring!
