A comforting, old fashioned dessert bursting with peach and almond flavors. Fresh peaches sprinkled with oats and almonds can even be considered a healthy dish, right? Right. Try peeling the peach before using if your going for a more elegant dessert.
Preheat your oven to 375. In a small bowl, combine the peaches and sugar. Toss gently to coat. Transfer peaches into 2 greased 6-8 ounce ramekins.
In the same small bowl, combine oats, flour, brown sugar, and almonds. Cut in cold butter with forks or a pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Sprinkle with almond extract and toss.
Sprinkle mixture over peaches.
Bake for 30 minutes, or until bubbly and golden brown.
