This is one of my favorite ways to serve potatoes. Super simple to make and they taste of delicious garlic and fresh Parmesan. Perfect side dish.
Gather your ingredients and slice the potatoes into thin slices.
Melt butter and pour into a 9 x 13 inch pan. Top with Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, pepper, and other spices if using. You may add whichever spices you prefer to these potato halves. I like the combination of garlic powder, freshly ground black pepper, and a dash of red pepper flakes.
Place potatoes on butter and seasonings. Bake for 40-45 minutes.
Use a spatula to scrape up each slice and place onto a serving dish. Cool for 5 minutes before serving. Serve with sour cream for dipping.
