Add everything into a large saucepan over medium heat.

Simmer about 20 minutes, or until the liquid and almost all evaporated. Serve warm topped with chopped pecans. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.

  • 1 pound carrots
  • 1 tbsp butter unsalted
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 pinch salt to taste
Instructions
  1. Chop carrots into bite sized pieces.
  2. Add everything into a large saucepan over medium heat.
  3. Simmer about 20 minutes, or until the liquid and almost all evaporated.
